Cara's Story

Cara was a happy, healthy, athletic, outgoing, over active student until October 1, 2010. On this day, she was getting ready for night classes when she noticed her legs felt weak. She was home alone and decided to go to her room to "rest". As she exited her bathroom and entered her bedroom, she collapsed onto the floor and could not get up. Fortunately, she had her cell phone and was able to get help.

Just thinkin out loud

Hi my fellow friends and TM members. It's been a while since i checked in and unfortunately it's been a rather challenging time since my dx of TM back in Nov./09. Beside my daily mental and physical battle with the pain TM dishes out to me, i had to deal with the untimely deaths of seven of my family and friends back in 2010. My story...I was recently diagnoised with TM

It was Sunday January 23, 2011 and I got a headache that felt like my migraines so I took some pain meds and figured that it would just go away like it normally does. This one was still there on Wednesday Jan. 26,2011 so I went to the ER and they gave me a pain shot and sent me home. The shot didnt work so on Friday the 28th I went back in and they gave me more pain shots and were trying to send me home again without any relief. Transverse Mylettis Changed Me

I was diagonsed with Transverse Mylettis and Sjogren Syndrome back in Feb. 2010. I was totally devastated by the news, exspecially when they told me their is no cure. Life each day is struggle between the pain each day 24hrs. a day and the medication I have to take. I feel I was robbed of half my life but what can I do.
